Career transition program (CTP)

Through the CTP Program, students can apply for entry into a number of ELT (entry level training) trades programs at the Okanagan College KLO campus in Kelowna. These are one year programs that prepare students for future apprenticeship training. The trades offered are: Automotive Service Technician, Automotive Collision Repair, Automotive Painting, Cook, Welding “C”, Carpentry/Joinery, RV Technician, Electrician, CNC Woodworking Technician, Horticulture Residential Construction, Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. Students accepted into the program will register for a 13th year of Secondary School and as such will receive dual credit for their college courses as well as having their tuition fees waived.
